AAC Blocks refer to Autoclaved Aerated Concrete. AAC Blocks are lightweight, precast, foam concrete building material used in the construction industry. AAC Blocks are suited for producing Concrete Masonry Unit CMU. The basic ingredients of these blocks are Sand, water, Calcined gypsum, aluminium powder, and lime. These products are cast with standard size, cured under temperature and pressure in an autoclave to produce solid moulds.
AAC Blocks and Panels are widely used in the construction of civil structures owing to its advantages in usage. AAC Blocks are précised with standard size and thickness and follow industrial standards. They are used for partition purposes.
AAC Blocks possess low weight and high strength. They can be bonded with industry prescribed adhesives or cement gels and colloids.
AAC Panels have a larger size and low thickness and are used for panelling. Though they are hard they would require reinforcement to retain steadiness. AAC Panels can be cut and machined as per the requirement as they are hard but brittle.
